Dr Liz Adams
Clinical Psychologist

Dr Liz Adams is a trained Christian counsellor and Clinical Psychologist, who worked at Newlife Care for ten years before creating her own private practice, Clarity. Liz gained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology exploring the impact of youth suicide on family members left behind. Liz has worked extensively with young people, families, couples, and those facing stress, depression, anxiety, grief, psychosis, and drugs and alcohol.

Heather Clark
Psychologist

Heather is a registered psychologist with over 25 year’s experience working as a Guidance Counsellor across a number of schools in the southeast. Heather is originally from the USA, where she trained as a School Psychologist and worked in urban schools, before moving to Australia. Heather has done extensive training in conflict and mediations and is active with PeaceWise, in addition to being available to provide supervision. Heather has a passion for working with adolescents and their parents and supporting them through the teenage years.

Elizabeth Wills
Psychologist

Originally a social worker, Elizabeth worked in the field of disability and medical social work before travelling with her family to the USA to study Theology. She returned to Australia with a Master's Degree in Christian Studies and emersed herself in counselling, training, lecturing at Bible colleges; eventually gaining her registration as a psychologist 24 years ago. Elizabeth has a focus on integrating psychology and theology to bring greater freedom to individuals and benefit wider church practices in education and discipleship within a biblical framework. Elizabeth listens with care and will help you develop the most helpful way forward in your situation.

Dr Majella Fallon
Clinical Psychologist

Dr Fallon is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who sees children, adolescents, and adults. She is committed to supporting her clients in a kind, caring and compassionate manner by utilising their existing strengths and working in partnership to reduce distress and create desired outcomes. Dr Fallon undertakes assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing challenges. For example: adverse life experiences, adjustment and transitions, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Eating Disorders, Anger Management, Autism, grief and loss, and behaviour issues.

Dr Iona Abrahamson
Counsellor

Dr Iona Abrahamson (PhD) is an experienced and well-qualified psychotherapist. Her areas of expertise are relationships, infidelity, loss and grief, parenting, domestic violence, self-esteem and assertiveness. She facilitates group workshops and provides individual, couples and family counselling with a focus on helping her clients towards healing.

Liz Asser
Counsellor

Liz is a counsellor and Psychotherapist who uses her own experience of distress to work with clients who are seeking to change their lives. With a background in teaching and training, Liz uses a strengths-based approach with her clients to find the solutions they are seeking.  This work is done in partnership, with emphasis on learning how to take control of emotions, thoughts and actions which do not serve our best interests or the achievement of potential.

Cassie
Psychological Assistant

Cassie is a highly experienced administrator and the latest addition to our reception team. She has recently completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is currently working on the publication of her thesis with Bond University. Cassie has a passion for working with young people who are experiencing trauma and youth justice. Cassie looks forward to supporting you upon your visit to Clarity.

Zara
Receptionist

Zara is an integral and energetic part of our reception team. She is currently working towards her Bachelor of Human Services, Majoring in Family Support and Child Protection. She has a heart for social justice and supporting others through challenges. Zara looks forward to welcoming you upon your arrival to Clarity.

Rachel
Receptionist

Rachel is an experienced and gifted receptionist. In addition to working at Clarity, she also has an administration position at a local legal firm, bringing a unique understanding of the intersection of the legal system and welfare services. Rachel’s interests include confidentiality, the providence of quality health care and supporting all who find solace at Clarity.

 

Molly Adams
Therapy Dog (in-training)

Molly is our therapy-dog-in-training. She loves a good tummy scratch and hugs from anyone who comes through our doors. She trained at the International Dog Training School. She is a loved member of Clarity and ready to greet you when you come in.
