Receptionist Role

We are currently seeking a new part-time receptionist to join our team of psychologists. This role entails providing administrative support, managing reception duties and customer-centred care to our clients. Our business model places administration at the heart of our operations, facilitating seamless communication and support for our clients, psychologists and practice management.

We are a supportive and welcoming practice and are eager to welcome a new member of the team.

We are looking for:

  • Previous administrative experience.

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Proficiency in medical software, Halaxy or the ability to adapt and learn quickly.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, 2 to 3 days per week.

  • Knowledge of Medicare rebates under the Better Access Scheme, would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Commitment to delivering excellent client support.

  • The role is ideally suited for someone currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology.

Role Responsibilities

  • Clerical duties, phone, email and inquiry management; scanning and filing; and record management.

  • Scheduling and organising appointments for our psychologists

  • Billing and invoicing of third parties

  • Ability to understand and adhere to the Australian Psychological Society confidentiality guidelines.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Engage with external bodies to organise clinical records or obtain required information needed by the practice.

Ideally, training for the role would commence immediately, for the successful applicant.

Consulting Rooms Available

If you are a psychologist looking for a professional, supportive space to grow your private practice, we have consulting rooms available within a well-established practice, currently shared by 4 psychologists and 2 counsellors, with support from a friendly and experienced reception team to help with bookings and billings.

·      Excellent work conditions with comfortable, fully furnished consulting rooms

·      A competitive rate of 70/30 of total earned income billed at the end of each month

We are looking for:

·        Ideally someone to build into a full-time caseload, part-time options will be considered

·        We are especially interested in hearing from Registered Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists

·        Someone who holds a current ABN and has their own professional indemnity insurance
